Steve Courchaine
My name is Stephen A. Courchaine. I graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Forestry. After graduating, I joined a national tree and lawn care company. For the past 36 years I have been solving tree, shrub, and lawn care problems right here in central Indiana. I am a certified arborist and State licensed pesticide applicator. I pride myself in accurate diagnoses. My education and many years experience have provided me with a keen knowledge of the insect, disease, and environmental problems prevalent in our area. Jon has been with Angel Oak since the very start of the company March 30, 2006. He is a great asset to the company with a broad knowledge base. He is one of our company’s 3 Certified Arborist. His licenses include – Turf & Disease with Tree & Shrub Pest Management 3A & 3B. When he steps onto your property, rest assured you will be well attended to with his vast knowledge base.
Jon played football at Carmel High School as a defensive tackle; he also went to St. Joseph College in northern Indiana with a football scholarship. He is an avid tennis player and plays classical piano in his free time. All of these characteristics make for a “Team Player” and this spills over into all that he does while taking care of our client’s needs.

FYI: There really is an Angel Oak tree! It is a Live Oak (Quercus Virginiana) located on John’s Island in Charleston, South Carolina, pictured at the top left. It is estimated to be over 1,400 years old. The circumference of the trunk is 25 ½ feet.
